Rain
Rain cancellations are based on actual conditions in the hours immediately before the lesson. Light summer rain does not cancel. Rainfall, temperature, wind are all factors. During the summer, having coffee for half an hour will sometimes solve the problem.
Summer
HEAT – During the summer we have to factor excessively hot days into our planning. We’ll use the Heat Index, commonly referred to as “Feels Like” temperature, to guide us. For most, a Feels Like 90 is too warm to do a lesson. Starting early can be key to avoiding excessive heat. We’ll use the Feels Like temperature as shown on the morning of the lesson – not the forecast from the day before.
VB judgment will prevail in making weather related cancellations. Weather related cancellations may be rescheduled or refunded* as you wish. Rescheduling is of course, subject to availability.
*PayPal’s processing fee of 3.49%, usually absorbed by VB, is deducted from all refunds :(
